Our Story

Still hitched to where it started.

Farmstead Coffee Co. started in 2021 out of an old horse trailer on family land outside Chapel Hill. That trailer's still around — it just doesn't haul horses anymore, and it still shows up at markets and events whenever it's needed. The business has since grown into a little shack with a walk-up window, built for people driving by to stop, order, and get back on the road.

Farmstead Coffee Co. sources the green beans and roasts them in small batches, right here. Two roasts, done well: a Medium Roast and an Espresso — no corporate menu, no beans shipped in pre-roasted from a warehouse.

"The trailer's how this whole thing started, so it never made sense to retire it. It still earns its keep at every event we do — same as the day it hauled its last horse." — Kevin, founder

How It Works

Simple, by design.

01

Sourced and roasted in-house

Green beans in, roasted in small batches at the shack — both varieties, Medium Roast and Espresso, done right here.

02

Poured at the window

Swing by the shack in Chapel Hill, order at the window, and get back on the road with a fresh cup in minutes.

03

Or the trailer comes to you

The original horse trailer still runs events — markets, rallies, and private parties across Middle Tennessee.

Medium Roast

Balanced and smooth, roasted for an everyday cup that's easy to drink black or with cream. Notes of brown sugar and toasted pecan.

1

Espresso

Roasted and blended to pull a balanced shot — works just as well in a home espresso machine or a moka pot.
